Tower Bridge
The world saw this monument during the Queen's Jubilee. Unmissable traditional and iconic place to photograph and admire from the river bank.
2
Big Ben
Certainly the second well known edifice in central London. Postcards can be bought in most souvenir shops, but nothing better than actually seeing it and taking a memorable picture.

Something new for London. Almost controversial but still well received. The Shard brings a kind of unique signature next to Tower Bridge. It does redefine London's skyline.
4
The Gherkin
A modern skyscraper located in East London around the financial district. It opened in April 2004. A very curvy shape, spectacular views of the city, this is a landmark to look at, observe and even visit. The Plaza makes it a social venue too. The Gherkin is another very popular structure to photograph and share on social media.
5
Battersea power station
Another place seen by million of people. Pink Floyd vinyl/cd features that power station on the record sleeve. Always good to see this type of structure before it disappears or is eventually refurbished into something completely different.
6
Victoria and Albert museum (V&A)
This is the world's largest museum of decorative arts and design. V&A is a truly wonderful piece of design with a lot of history.

8
Royal Albert Hall
Built in 1871, a beautiful example of architecture. Mainly used for concert and the BBC Proms since 1941. You can't miss the 800 foot frieze on the outside.
9
Tate Modern
You don't need to like modern/contemporary arts to go to the Tate Modern. The building seems cold from the outside, rather industrial. However, the inside is warm, welcoming and even comfortable. The turbine hall is just incredible with always an exhibition to attract all kind of visitors. The Tate is also undergoing changes and a real property management project is on the way to redefine the museum/gallery for the 21st century.
10
The Millenium Dome
Also known as The O2. It is an arena which can receive concerts and exhibitions with 23,000 seats. The O2 is visible from far away due to its original roof. The dome is the world's largest single-roofed structure.
