On February 10, 2015 Jon Stewart let the nation know that he would be leaving The Daily Show at some point this year. After 20 years of host The Daily Show, a respectable and long career for anyone, he's finally retiring to pursue new opportunities in directing for himself. Comedy Central has also stated that they do not intend to retire the show with him and will be keeping it on air for the foreseeable future.
