One of the best spots in the world to see in the New Year, Edinburgh’s Hogmanay street party is a world famous event. Huge crowds are entertained by a host of famous names before being treated to a huge fireworks display from atop Edinburgh Castle. The Hogmanay celebrations in Edinburgh last for three days: from the torchlight procession on the 30th to the traditional “Looney Dook” on the 1st, making Edinburgh a perfect spot for a New Year break.
