Too often you can see people in the street and in the countryside leaving the wrapping of a sweet or sandwich on a pavement or on a bench as if this was acceptable. A change of attitude is necessary to preserve the nature.

Bring your sandwich - keep the packaging
During Summer season a lot of people go for their lunch break in a park nearby their workplace. But, when comes the time to go back to the office; people tend to leave the plastic bag, drink can/bottle and food packaging on the beautifully maintained lawn. Most of the time there is a bin around with even a compartment saying litter and recycle. Bring your food but don't forget to clear that waste.
2
Moving house - plan it
When it comes to relocate either by choice or by obligation, there are a lot of things to think about and to organize. It is also about the unwanted furniture and clothes too. Some companies specialize in skip hire for home and business. You can even pick your size: check this infographic for more info.
3
Separate and dispatch your glass bottles
Bottle banks are everywhere but are sadly ignored because this requires a small effort to ditch the empty bottles in the correct containers: clear, brown or green glass need to be dropped in the adequate container. Simple but apparently too much for some.

Give a talk at primary schools
Children need to be informed as soon as they understand what is right and wrong. Teaching them that papers, cans or other waste mustn't be dropped in the street or on a country lane will change the state of our planet for future generations as well.
6
Upcycle and re-use
Imagine that you have an old (unwanted) pair of shoes. Maybe the laces can be re-used to make a bracelet...and the leather could be cut to produce a new item such as a smartphone cover?! Upcycling is very fashionable, because it shows that you care about nature and environment.
7
Don't mix rubbish and recycling waste
Here again it is very easy. Do not put food leftovers with recyclable items such as plastic and cardboard packaging. In general, everything going into the "green container" should not be bagged and should be dry (no food, no liquid).
8
Respect seaside towns and countryside
Taking some holidays is a natural thing in order to forget the daily tension and stress. However, this doesn't mean to disrespect beaches and share spaces. The Devon coastlines are wonderful and it is essential to keep the footpaths as clean as possible - same goes with Dartmoor and Exmoor where the landscape is just breathtaking.
10
Green energy
Reduce carbon foot print and ask about green/ renewable energy - solar panels and/or wind turbine can power your accommodation. Or even opt for an electric car. It is more natural too.
