1
Montreal Expos/Washington Nationals
Only playoff series win was in a strike shortened season. Had a great chance to go again in 94, but missed out because of a strike
2
Chicago Cubs
Have made the playoffs several years, but no WS win in 100 years and counting
3
Seattle Mariners
Never been to a World Series but they have won a playoff series.
4
Pittsburgh Pirates
They were once very good. I promise. Ask your dad. A Sid Bream slide and errant Barry Bonds throw was the end of their good play. Last winning season was 1992
5
Milwaukee Brewers
Finally made the playoffs a few years ago again, but have been pretty much horrible for the past 15 years or so
6
Texas Rangers
Before last season, they would have been #1. But they finally won a playoff series (two in fact) and made their first World Series. As a Rangers fan, I am eternally grateful!
7
Cleveland Indians
Not quite as long as the Cubs, but many fans have lived their entire life without seeing a championship for the Tribe. Last series win was 1948
8
Kansas City Royals
Haven't been good in many, many years
9
Houston Astros
One World Series appearance, no wins. And they seem to be headed in the wrong direction
10
Baltimore Orioles
1983 was last World Series win. They used to be good. They seem to be getting better, but the AL East is a monster of a division and they have an uphill climb
