The National Trust has lots of volunteering opportunities that are suitable for all ages and walks of life. Many opportunities to see some amazing locations from a different perspective.

One of the largest charities has many roles for those who are looking to gain experience through volunteering. There are roles in their offices where you can learn about fundraising and social media to roles in their shops where you can build on your interests such as music or fashion.

If you are in a position where you have worked hard and become successful why not take a moment to pass some of that knowledge and experience down to those who are just starting out. Local business centres will be delighted to have someone volunteer to chat to would be business owners.

If you are an animal person then helping out at an animal shelter might suit you perfectly. Through your volunteering you will be helping animals that have been unlucky to have another chance at living in a happy home.
