The Top Ten Saved by the Bell Characters

The classic show Saved by the Bell paved the way for so many sitcoms. The characters of this great show made these situational comedies come to life. Here's my list of my favorite characters

#	Character	Why they're so awesome!
1.	Zach Morris	By far, the main character and main reason this show exists. His crazy schemes are often the main plotline for each great episode.
2.	Alfred Clifford 'AC' Slater	Muscles + Mullet, need I say more?
3.	Samual 'Screech' Powers	The comedic punch line to break up the seriousness of many of the episodes. Although never very funny, his presence is needed to keep the show's comedic edge.
4.	Kelly Kapowski	The girl next store and the girl of everyone's dreams. Her bubbly and happy demeanor was her saving grace.
5.	Lisa Turtle	Although often referred to as the most shallow and superficial, Lisa's moral character is often tested and never faltered.
6.	Jessica 'Jessie' Spano	A neurotic overachiever, Jessie was the love interest of AC and proves that opposites attract. After being named valedictorian of Bayside, she went on to become an exotic dancer.
7.	Tori Scott	Tori, unknown to the masses, was a substitute for Kelly and Jessie when they did not want to come back for the senior year of the show. An eclectic mix of tomboy and prom queen, Tori's curly hair and motorcycle jacket lessened the impact of the other two girl's absence.
8.	Staci Carosi	By far, my favorite guest character during the 'Malibu Sands' summer series. East coast sass bundled up in a petite package, I'm still at a loss on how she lost the Miss 4th of July pageant.
9.	Richard Belding	How can you have a high school without a principal? Mr. Belding provided comic relief as well as law and order to Bayside High School.
10.	Max	The favorite hangout of the students of Bayside, Max was the proprietor of this legendary hangout that is up there with the likes of the 'Peach Pit' and that pizza joint in Charles in Charge. Did I mention that he also does magic and bat mitzvahs?
