Mint.com
The Mint.com app has won a host of awards and recommendations. It draws in data from all of a user's accounts, including their credit cards, and compiles it into useful reports allowing them to track and categorise their spending. Unfortunately it's only available in the USA and Canada.

Toshl Finance
Toshl is an expenses tracker app which lets you input and tag all of your spending. It is particularly good for creating graphs and charts to help visualise your spending habits.

Savings Goals
This app is designed to help people create saving schedules. You just enter an amount and the date you need it by and Savings Goals will work out the savings schedule for you.

Gigwalk
An app which puts people who need tasks completed in touch with people who want to earn a little money completing them. It's only available in some of the UK biggest cities at the moment, but it's expected to spread quickly.

Bloomberg
The official Bloomberg app give instant access to some of the most highly respected financial news around. You'll find finance news, market data and portfolio tracking tools.

Expensify
This one is specifically for people who have to hand in business expenses. You simply take snaps of your receipts and fill in a few details then the app compiles expenses reports for you.

RedLaser Barcode Scanner
This app allows you to use your phone's camera to scan product barcodes. It then searches online to compare prices. It can even compare prices with other shops near you location.

WhatGas
WhatGas allows you to compare petrol/diesel prices near your location. It uses GPS to find your location then shows you all the petrol stations in your vicinity and their fuel prices.

Field Agent
Field Agent is similar to Gigwalk in that it puts people who need a task completed in touch with people who will complete it for them for cash. The main differences are that Filed Agent can operate anywhere, and it focusses more on real estate, local business information, research and retail tasks.

Bill Assistant
This app is designed to help you manage your bill payments. Input your bill payment details and it reminds you when you need to pay them and keeps track of how much you owe and what you've paid.
