A Michael Jackson music video is it's own category of music video. You know what you're going to get (dancing, always getting the girl, great music) but yet you never really do (Thriller Movie Music Video, big name celebrities). His videos were game changers in the history of music videos. Him being one of the strangest people (fact) just adds to the mystique. I hope there is a Beavis and Butthead episode where they watch a Michael Jackson video, can't imagine what it would be like.
Another big American Icon with one of the most interesting lives of all time. Hmmmmm, The Top Ten Interesting Lives Of All Time sounds like a good list idea. The Dos Equis Most Interesting Man In The World of course is in there.

One of the best selling albums of all time and deservedly so. The title track is music video genius with an incredible Movie Music Video. The Teen Wolf Intro The entire 80’s underworld rises to chase Michael down, but wait, he is one of them too, or is he, wait yes he is. The quintessential Michael video, he waits no time as he is starts surrounded by his cronies consisting of poser bad guys and future high school drop-outs. I remember watching that video as a kid and wishing I went to a school like that, badass. Scream
Not only do you have The King Of Pop, but his sister Janet who makes the song exponentially better and creepier. Flying saucers and the artfully cut sequences are “pretty darn sweet” for lack of a better term. People say he did this in black in white so you could tell that they are actually two separate people and to stop asking him questions whether he was black or white, I think they filmed in black and white because they were way over budget. Remember The Time
The Stickman that Magic first introduces where Iman says, "Through him to the Lions.” After one of the most pathetic performances sets the stage to Michael appearing from sand to show us how a music video is done. The rest of the video is a journey through ancient Egypt. Billie Jean
The actual Billie Jean is someone that Michael met one time in a pool and she was accusing him of being the father of one of her twins (psycho!). I like the director intent filming, it makes it look very theatrical at times. The live version of this song is one of the single best musical performances ever. The Polaroid picture takes you back as Michael begins to light of the street, literally. You really don’t know what this video begins as two rival gangs get together for a face off (“Look they’re breakdance fighting!” –Mogatu), as Michael rises from his bed wearing a 80’d-out keyboard shirt that we will be seeing at Hot Topic soon. Michael Jackson and Michael Jordan both in the primes of their careers! And let's not forget about the one and only Heavy D coming in with a little rhyme and Kris Kross with the cameo appearance. Special effects try to give Jackson some hoops skills but it's just not believable. Jordan on the other hand has some dance moves. Can't beat both MJs in the same video!

Jackson enters some sort of speakeasy and is stands out like he does in real life. One of the best dance sequences from his videos (no, they are not all the same). I think a bar with a Michael Jackson performer could make it. Dirty Diana
In this video you get a glimpse of what it would be like to be at a concert. I’ve never been but have heard it is one of the best shows on the planet. He was scheduled to do a tour that is already sold-out. The blowing wind is classic, lights are perfect, and cared for locks of feathered hair add that much appreciated flair. You Rock My World
Just shy of twelve and a half minutes long in its entirety, “You Rock My World” is a through back to his earlier fight scene themed videos. Chris Tucker has been type-casted as the fast-talking, funny side-kick helping Michael to pursue a beautiful girl played back to the hangout of some not too friendly thugs lead by Michael Madsen. In traditional fashion, a standoff ensues with Michael surrounded by his hat-wearing crew that have spent long in a dance studio practicing their moves.
